Dr Jingchen Zhao is the Associate Professor in Law in the School of Law’s Centre for Business Law and Practice at the University of Leeds, England specialising in corporate law and governance, and where his primary teaching duties are in relation to corporate governance, corporate law, securities law and corporate finance at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is deputy director of the Centre of Business Law and Practice. He has taught at several UK universities most recently at University of Sussex, where he taught subjects in commercial law, corporate law and corporate governance.
Jingchen holds a doctorate from the University of Manchester. He is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. He is the author of a monography in the corporate social responsibility field, entitled Corporate Social Responsibility in Contemporary China (Edward Elgar 2014). He has had a few articles published in the reputable journals including Legal Studies, Journal of Corporate Law Studies, Journal of Business Law, Washington University Global Studies Law Review, Hong Kong Law Journal and Northern Ireland Legal Quarterly.
